“Assault Lily FRUITS” Short Anime Releases New Key Art
The official “Assault Lily Project” Twitter recently released new key art for the upcoming short anime “Assault Lily FRUITS”. The anime is set to be released on July 20, 2021 in Japan.
In addition to the key art, the official theme song entitled "Can't Stop Fruity" was announced. The song will be performed in character by Riri Hitosuyanagi (voiced by Hikaru Akao), Yuyu Shirai (voiced by Yuko Natsuyoshi), Kazuba Aizawa (voiced by Ayaka Fujii), and Kanaho Kon (voiced by Kaori Maeda).
No word as of yet if “Assault Lily FRUITS” will be released in the US.
“Assault Lily Project” is a mixed media franchise based on action dolls and figures by AZONE International and Acus. SHAFT animation studio, which produced the anime series “Assault Lily BOUQUET”, will produce the new anime.
The new anime will follow the 12-episode anime series “Assault Lily BOUQUET”, which premiered October 2020. The series is available to stream on Funimation in subtitles and English dubbing.
“Assault Lily BOUQUET” Synopsis: On the verge of extinction by the alien entity known as Huge, the planet unites to develop CHARM. Merging science and magic into a weapon, military facilities called Gardens quickly sprout up to train recruits in this nascent technology. Forged by nature and training, teenage girls emerge as a heroic Lily upon blossoming. Can humanity survive long enough for these Lilies to bloom and save us all?
In addition, the “Assault Lily Last Bullet” game was released for iOS, Android, and PC in January 2021.
