“BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage” To Be Released On Eventive
The official Twitter for the “BanG Dream!” franchise announced the premiere of “BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage”. The anime concert film is set to premiere on September 18, 2021 on Eventive in the US and Canada.
The new film is a sequel to the 2019 anime concert “BanG Dream FILM LIVE”, which is currently streaming on HIDIVE in the US.
The official tagline is "Bring You the Greatest Live, Once Again!". Poppin' Party, Afterglow, Pastel＊Palettes, Roselia, Hello, Happy World!, Morfonica and RAISE A SUILEN are confirmed to perform in the second film.
The film’s ticket price is $20 and will be available to stream on Eventive from September 18th, 2021 7:00 PM (PDT) - November 21st, 2021 11:59 PM (PDT) in Japanese with English subtitles. In addition, there will be three different encore endings:
September 18th - October 9th: Encore Ending #1 (Poppin' Party, Pastel*Palettes, and Morfonica performing "Kizunairo no Ensemble".)
October 10th - October 30th: Encore Ending #2 (Roselia and Afterglow performing "Feast Red x Violet"".)
October 31st - November 21st: Encore Ending #3 (RAISE A SUILEN and Hello, Happy World! performing "Ras-Ha-Pii-Pō".)
The “BanG Dream!” franchise is a multimedia project by Bushiroad launched in 2015 that includes anime, manga, music and a mobile game.
“BanG Dream!” Season 1 premiered in January 2017 in Japan and was simulcast on Crunchyroll in the US. Season 2 premiered January 2019 in Japan and was simulcast on both Crunchyroll and HIDIVE after Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime. Seasons 1 and 2 can be currently streamed on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE.
Season 3 of “BanG Dream!” premiered January 2020 and was simulcast on HIDIVE and is currently available to stream. All 3 seasons plus the first film are available to purchase on Blu-ray.
The BanG Dream! franchise also recently released on Eventive two films focusing on the "Roselia" in-story band called “BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Promise” and “BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia II : Song I am.”.
In addition, the anime film “BanG Dream! Poppin’ Dream!”, which will continue the story from season 3, was recently announced and is set to be released in theaters January 1, 2022 in Japan.
