“Cue!” Voice Acting TV Anime Releases 2nd Cour Promo Video

The official website for “Cue!” released a promotional video to tease the upcoming second cour of the voice acting anime. The series is set to return with episode 13 on April 8, 2022 and is currently being simulcast on Crunchyroll.

“Cue!” premiered on January 7, 2022 and is confirmed for 24 episodes or 2 cours (half a year). The promo video teases the upcoming second cour opening theme song titled "Tomorrow's Diary", performed by the members of the VA agency AiRBLUE. The group will also perform the second ending theme song "Yumeda Yori".

Crunchyroll Synopsis: Set at the offices of "AiRBLUE", a rookie voice acting agency with no track record or experience, CUE! follows the trials and tribulations of a group of young women who follow their dreams of becoming voice actors. But the voice acting world is highly competitive, and no matter how much someone practices, not everyone will make it past the audition process. Despite frustrations and setbacks, the story of a new generation of voice actors is about to begin.

The anime is based on the “Cue!” mobile game produced by Liber Entertainment, which was launched in 2019. The simulation game had players becoming managers and training up-and-coming voice actors at AiRBLUE. Makoto Katagai is directing the anime at Yumeta Company x Graphinica.

The voice cast from the game returned for the anime. The main cast includes: Yurina Uchiyama as “Haruna Mutsuishi”, Nene Hieda as “Maika Takatori”, Kyōka Moriya as “Shiho Kano”, Yuna Ogata as “Honoka Tsukii”, Ayaka Takamura as “Yūki Tendō”, Satsuki Miyahara as “Chisa Akagawa”, Mayu Iizuka as “Airi Eniwa”, Manatsu Murakami as “Yuzuha Kujō”, Yukari Anzai as “Miharu Yomine”, Saki Matsuda as “Aya Kamuro”, Megumi Yamaguch as “Mahoro Miyaji”, Arisa Tsuruno as “Riko Hinakura”, Hina Tachibana as “Rie Maruyama”, Ami Komine as “Satori Utsugi”, Mai Satō as “Rinne Myōjin”, and Rio Tsuchiya as “Mei Tōmi”.
