“Do It Yourself!!” TV Anime Set To Stream On Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll announced that they have acquired exclusive rights to the upcoming original anime “Do It Yourself!!”. The streamer will simulcast the anime as it airs in Japan. The slice-of-life series is set to be released in Fall 2022.

Crunchyroll will simulcast the series in subtitles in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS. In addition, “Do It Yourself!!” Episode 1 will premiere at the 2022 Crunchyroll Expo on August 6, 2022.

Crunchyroll Synopsis: Building furniture and friendships have a lot in common. Intention, effort, and hard work are needed for both crafts. This is a story of girls in a DIY club building both as they carve out their futures. None of it comes easy, but that doesn’t stop any of ’em. Furniture, friendships, and the future—they’re building it all with their own hands!

Animation studio PINE JAM will be handling the production with Kazuhiro Yoneda directing. IMAGO and Avex Pictures are credited with the original work. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu will handle the script and series composition. Yuusuke Matsuo is handling the character designs with Yuka Okamoto as art director and Ryohei Sataka in charge of the music.

“Do It Yourself!!” follows a group of high school girls from Sanjō City, Niigata Prefecture named Kurei, Takumi, Serufu, Purin, Jobko, and Shii, (pictured above from left to right) as they learn the joys of hands-on crafting projects. The character “Yua Serufu” will be voiced by Konomi Inagaki.
