“Extreme Hearts” Anime Announces Additional Characters With New Promo Videos

The official website for “Extreme Hearts” announced additional characters and cast along with new promotional videos to tease the upcoming series. The original TV anime is set to be released on July 9, 2022 in Japan.

The anime stars Ruriko Noguchi as “Hiyori Hayama”, Miho Okasaki as “Saki Kodaka”, and Kana Yūki as “Sumika Maehara”. The first promo video highlights the main three characters (above). Additional characters and cast include:

Ayaka Fukuhara as “Yukino Tachibana”,

Ari Ozawa as “Lise Kohinata”,

Chinami Hashimoto as “QON-N4CX Nono”,

Rika Abe as “Hazuki Sakurai”,

Saori Ōnishi as “Tomo Miyasiro”,

Yō Taichi as “Yuriko Suemune”,

Kaede Yuasa as “Chihiro Honda”,

and Tomomi Mineuchi as “Teena Merkies”.

According to the website, the story is “A little more about the future than the present. ‘Hyper sports’ is a hobby competition that is popular with children and adults alike. Hiyori Hayama is a high school singer who had nothing to do with such hyper sports. The story begins to move in the wake of a certain incident and encounter. ‘This is the story of us meeting our best friends.’”

“Extreme Hearts” is an original anime from writer Masaki Tsuzuki. Junji Nishimura is directing at Seven Arcs with Issei Aragaki and Kana Hashidate serving as chief animation directors. Voice cast member Miho Okasaki is performing the anime's opening theme "Infinite".
