HIDIVE To Stream “KINMOZA! The Movie: Thank You!!” And “KINMOZA! Pretty Days”
HIDIVE announced that it will stream “KINMOZA! The Movie: Thank You!!” anime film and “KINMOZA! Pretty Days” anime special on February 13, 2023.
“KINMOZA! The Movie: Thank You!!” is the sequel to the manga adapted anime series “KINMOZA!”. The film opened in August 2021 in Japan. Sentai Filmworks acquired the distribution rights for the film and released the Blu-ray on November 2022.

The Movie: Thank You!!” Synopsis: Alice, Shinobu, Aya, and Yoko have truly become the best of friends, but since it’s their last year, they must split their time between preparing for the big senior trip to Nara and Kyoto and trying to make plans for whatever is to come next in their lives… and in Shinobu’s case, that may mean something so amazing that she’d never even dared to dream it! Hop on the tour bus for one last wonderful adventure in KINMOZA! THE MOVIE – THANK YOU!!
“KINMOZA! Pretty Days” anime OVA special was released in November 2016 in Japan. Sentai Filmworks also acquired the distribution rights for the OVA and released the Blu-ray on November 2022.
HIDIVE “KINMOZA! Pretty Days” Synopsis: Shinobu has to write a script and make costumes for a school play, and it’s a lot of work for one person. Fortunately for Shinobu’s theatrical future, Alice, Yoko, and Aya are glad to pitch in, and that allows for a chance to reflect on their experiences in the days before Alice arrived. Will everything be finished in time, or will the audience be in stitches because of the ones coming apart onstage? There’s no way to be sure until the last curtain call in KINMOZA! PRETTY DAYS!
The first season aired in 2013 followed by the second season, “Hello!! KINMOZA”, in 2015. Crunchyroll originally streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks later released the seasons on DVD and Blu-ray and both are currently available to stream on HIDIVE.

So when Shinobu learns that the daughter of her host family, Alice Cartelet, is coming to stay with her and study in Japan, she’s thrilled. But will Alice be able to fit in with Shinobu’s Japanese schoolfriends, Yoko and Aya? And how will the arrival of Shinobu’s old rival Karen, who’s half-English and half-Japanese, affect the potential culture clash? Every day is an adventure in international diplomacy and self discovery as a group of schoolgirls learn new lessons about each other and themselves in KNMOZA!
The “KINMOZA!” anime is based on the “Kiniro Mosaic” manga created by Yui Hara. Hara launched the manga in Manga Time Kirara Max in April 2010. The series ended in March 2020 with a total of 11 volumes. A special manga titled “Kiniro Mosaic: Best Wishes” was launched in May 2020, and ended in March 2021. The manga is currently being published in English by Yen Press with 11 volumes available in print. “Kiniro Mosaic: Best Wishes” is set to be released on March 21, 2023.
