HIDIVE To Stream “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” Chapter 1 English Dub

Streamer HIDIVE announced on their website the premiere date for the “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” Chapter 1 English dubbing. The dub for the first installment of the six-part anime movie series will be released on June 29, 2022.

The “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” English dub cast includes Avery Smithhart as “Ange”, Patricia Duran as “Princess”, Elizabeth Bunch as “Dorothy”, Shanae’a Moore as “Beatrice”, and Rachael Messer as “Chise”.

Synopsis: Following the attempted assassination of the Queen, manhunts for spies become a frequent occurrence within the Kingdom. Control — the Commonwealth’s covert ops group — suspects a double agent within the Kingdom’s royal family and dispatches Ange and the rest of “Team White Pigeon” to discover the truth.

HIDIVE released “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” Chapter 1 on May 26, 2021 and the anime film is currently available to stream in subtitles. The first film was released on February 11, 2021 in theaters in Japan. Masaki Tachibana returned from the TV anime to direct the film at Actas. The anime stars Aoi Koga as “Ange”, Akira Sekine as “Princess”, Yō Taichi as “Dorothy”, Akari Kageyama as “Beatrice”, and Nozomi Furuki as “Chise”.

Sentai Filmworks acquired the distribution rights to “Princess Principal: Crown Handler” film series outside of Japan. Chapter 2 was released on September 23, 2021 in theaters in Japan. No word as of yet on a release date for Chapter 2 in the US. The “Princess Principal” anime series premiered in Summer 2017 and can currently be streamed on HIDIVE and Amazon Prime Video.
