“KanColle” Season 2 Announces November 2022 Premiere With Teaser Visual And Promo Video

During Kadokawa’s AnimeJapan 2022 event, they revealed a teaser visual and promotional video with details for the upcoming second season of “KanColle”. The action anime is set to premiere in November 2022 with an 8-episode run.

Season 2 is titled “KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de” and will be produced by Studio ENGI, Kadokawa, and C2 Kikan. Production company C2 Kikan announced via Twitter in January that the second season of “KanColle” was set to premiere Fall 2022. The anime sequel was originally announced back in 2015.

The anime stars Saki Fujita, Yumi Tanabe, Aya Suzaki, Inazuma, Yui Horie, Iori Nomizu, Yui Ogura, Risa Taneda, Kozue Hayasaka, Wakana Miyawaka, Mana Komatsu, Ayana Taketatsu, Yuki Yamada, and Nao Tōyama.

Based on the video game by the same name, “KanColle” Season 1 premiered in 2015 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. The first is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll in subtitles and English dubbing. Funimation released the series on DVD and Blu-ray in 2017.

Crunchyroll Synopsis: Set in a world where humanity has lost control of the oceans to the “deep sea fleet,” the only hope to counter this threat are the Kanmusu, a group of girls who possess the spirit of Japanese warships. The story revolves around Fubuki, a destroyer who comes to the Chinjufu base to train with other Kanmusu. Watch as their stories unfold!

“Kantai Collection: KanColle Movie” was released in November 2016 in Japan. The movie was produced by Diomedea and distributed by Kadokawa.
