"Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S" Announces Theme Songs And Short Anime “Mini Dora”
The official Twitter for "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S" anime released information on the opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming new season and the short animations called “Mini Dora”.
The opening theme song "Love Supreme!” will be sung by the band fhaná, who sang “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” season 1’s theme song “Blue Sky Rhapsody”.
The ending theme song, "Maid With Dragons", will be sung by Super Chorogonzu, which is comprised of the voice actors from the series. This includes: Yuki Kuwahara (Tohru), Marie Naganawa (Kanna), Yuki Yakada (Elma), Minami Takahashi (Lucoa), and new cast member for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, Tomomi Mineuchi (Ilulu). Both CDs are set to be released on July 14, 2021.
In addition, special "Mini Dora" short animations will be streamed on Kyoto Animation's YouTube channel every Wednesday starting April 7, 2021 leading up to the season 2 premiere.
Crunchyroll recently announced that it will stream “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S”. The second season is set to be released July 7, 2021.
Second Season Synopsis: The wacky Dragon Maid is back again! A strange turn of events leads the Dragon, Tohru, to work as Miss Kobayashi's maid. She occasionally (that's a lie, she often) causes trouble for her beloved Miss Kobayashi while blending into human society and splendidly (that's a lie, only mediocrely) carrying out her maid duties. Her fellow dragons, Kanna, Lucoa, Fafnir, and Elma all find their own places to fit in as well and enjoy interspecies interactions with the humans. Yet while they're all enjoying that laid-back and occasionally turbulent left, the threat of a new Dragon swoops down upon Miss Kobayashi.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” as it aired in Japan in 2017 with subtitles. The English dubbing is available to watch on Funimation and on Blu-ray. Seven Seas Entertainment is currently releasing the manga series “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” and the spin-off’s “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary” and “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life” in English.
