Original Golf Anime “Sorairo Utility” Announces TV Series
Yostar Pictures and Pony Canyon recently announced that the original golf-themed anime OVA “Sorairo Utility” will get a TV anime series.
In addition, the official anime website released a new key visual and teaser trailer. Kengo Saito is returning to direct and design the characters of the anime at Yostar Pictures. Yu Sato will handle the series composition and co-write the series with Aya Satsuki and Aki Mizuki. Kota Nozomi, who wrote the script for the Sorairo Utility OVA, will return for original concept cooperation.
The original cast members from the OVA special are set to reprise their characters including:
Miyu Takagi as “Minami Aoba”,
Yurina Amami as “Haruka Akane”,
and Ayasa Goto as “Ayaka Hoshimi”.
“Sorairo Utility” Synopsis: Sorairo Utility follows three young women who explore their love of golf: Minami, a beginner at the game who picks up golf in an effort to distinguish herself with a hobby before she finishes high school; Haruka, a gifted golfer who excels at the sport and works part-time at the club; and Ayaka, a young lady who aims to become an influencer on social media.
The “Sorairo Utility” OVA premiered in 2021 and can be streamed on Crunchyroll. No release date has been announced for the new TV Anime.
