“Prima Doll” Anime Reveals Promo Video And Cast

The official website for “Prima Doll” revealed key art, a promotional video and cast for the upcoming anime. The anime is set to be released sometime in 2022.

Story Synopsis: Cafe, Kuronekotei. It's a coffee shop in a corner of the 5th ward of the imperial capital. Working there are girls of autonomous dolls (automata) who bring together the best of technology. The great war that just ended a few years ago. They were made there as weapons. Postwar peace that soon came. Restored like new, dressed in a shiny kimono, Looking for a new role, I will raise my singing voice. Would you like to spend a wonderful time with them?

The cast includes: Azumi Waki as “Haizakura”, a waiter doll at the Kuronekotei coffee shop and curious hard worker.

Tomori Kusunoki as “Karasuba”, the leader of Kuronekotei. Serious and responsible. A little victorious personality.

Miyu Tomita as “Gekka”, former reconnaissance doll. The prosthesis is lighter and at first glance, it looks like a child. A remnant of the civilian employee era, with a blunt tone. The number of words is small and the minimum.

Yuki Nakashima as “Hokiboshi”, the kitchen clerk at Kuronekotei. Cooking skill is shiny. A gentle, polite and neat doll. Always cheerful and soothing existence like an older sister.

Akari Kito as “Retzel”, an autonomous doll made by Lobelia. Received a research observation request from the Imperial Army and taken over by Kuronekotei. While graceful demeanor that makes you feel elegance. it spits poison at the moment.

The anime will be a part of a mixed media project, which was announced in October 2020 by Visual Arts/Key. The project will include figures, a short story serialization, and web novels. Bibury Animation Studios will be producing with Tensho directing.
