“Blue Reflection Ray” Anime Announces Supporting Cast
The official website for the new anime series “Blue Reflection Ray” announced two more cast members today. The series is set to premiere in Japan on April 9, 2021.
The additional cast includes:
Yuka Takakura as Momo Tanabe, an 18-year-old girl who has repeated a grade twice before dropping out of high school and working a part time job.
Hitomi Ohwada as Miyako Shirakaba, a first-year high school student from a wealthy family who is actually suffering and is envious of others.
The series is based on the 2017 released role-playing game “Blue Reflection: Maboroshi ni Mau Shoujo no Ken” (Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions) by developer Gust Co. Ltd. The anime will be produced by J.C. Staff and stars Manaka Iwami as Hiori Hirahara and Haruka Chisuga as Ruka Hanari. The opening theme song "DiViNE" by EXiNA was recently previewed in a new promo. No US distributor has been announced as of yet.
Synopsis: This is a story that connects the glittering feelings. Joy, sadness, anger. People's feelings are the power that everyone has, but they cannot see. At times, that power may even change the world. The series follows Yosakurari Hirahara, who is always positive and can’t leave alone people who are in trouble, and Rinatsu Hanari, who is clumsy because she doesn't know how to get along with people. How will the encounter between the two girls, who can be said to be contrasting, change themselves and the world?
