“Shine Post” Anime Announces July 12 Premiere Date With 2nd Promo Video

The official website for the “Shine Post” multimedia project announced the premiere date with a second promotional video to tease the upcoming musical series. The idol anime is set to be released on July 12, 2022.

In addition, the website announced Atsumi Tanezaki is voicing the Yurayura Sisters idol unit's manager “Eiko Kikuchi”.

“Shine Post” stars Sayumi Suzushiro as “Haru Nabatame”, Moeko Kanisawa as “Kyо̄ka Tamaki”, Yūko Natsuyoshi as “Rio Seibu”, Rika Nakagawa as “Momiji Itо̄”, and Rimo Hasegawa as “Yukine Giongi”. The franchise first introduced the project in October 2021 revealing the 5 idol unit titled "TINGS!".

In addition, the in-story rival group “HY:RAIN” includes Yū Serizawa as “Ren Kurogane”, Kurumi Takase as “Aoba Karabayashi”, Miyu Kubota as “Itoha Karabayashi”, Tomoyo Takayanagi as “Nanoha Hiumi”, and Arisa Kōri as “Yawara Naekawa”.

The third in-story idol group is “FFF” and the cast includes: Iori Noguchi as “Nanami Totsuka”, Hina Kino as “Hinatsu Yōmoto”, and Fairouz Ai as “Yoshimi Nashiki”. The franchise recently released a lyric video for the group’s song “First Step” (above).

The fourth in-story idol group is the “Yurayura Sisters” and the cast includes Kiara Saitō as “Miina Hirose” and Aoi Koga as “Natalia”. The franchise recently released a lyric video for the group’s song "Yurayura Wonderful World" (above).

The anime was announced by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge, and will be a part of a multimedia project that will include a game, manga and concerts. Based on the light novel by writer Rakuda and illustrator Buriki, the anime will be directed by Kei Oikawa at Studio KAI. The music video for the song "Be Your Light!!" by "TINGS", was released in January 2022 and showcased the idol group and their first single.
