Noodletub Games Launches Kickstarter For Yuri Visual Novel “Good Luck Baby!”

Game developer and publisher Noodletub Games announced this week that they have launched a Kickstarter campaign for their next yuri visual novel “Good Luck Baby!”.

Noodletub Games is an indie team comprised of two queer women and their focus is on creating yuri story driven games. They previously released the yuri visual novel “LOVE BAKUDAN” back in January 2021. The “Good Luck Baby!” Kickstarter campaign reached its full funding goal within 24 hours but is still active in order to secure additional funding for the “stretch goals” that include extra scenes and a villain route.

Set in 2002 Japan, “Good Luck Baby!” is a kinetic yuri visual novel about true love, found family, and happiness blooming in unexpected circumstances. Inspiration for the game came directly from the creators and they went on to elaborate that, “As two lesbians, we wanted to follow our hearts and make games that really appealed to our own tastes. We wanted to explore not just romantic love between women, but also the safety and comfort that often comes with the subject of found family. We wanted to create something that was not just heartwarming, but also interesting in a way that allows people of all ages and walks of life to see that there is a world waiting for them with open arms, too. It means so much to us to be able to share our stories with the world, and we hope everyone gets as much joy out of experiencing them as we do creating them.”

Story Synopsis: Having a stroke of bad luck sucks. Having a few weeks of bad luck is even worse.That's something Hifumi Tanaka unfortunately learns first-hand. Stubbing her toe one too many times, losing her wallet on the train to the city, getting to school two hours late... this unrelenting streak of misfortune makes her cry out in frustration to the universe. “Can't something good happen for once?!”

Hifumi's luck begins to turn around upon meeting the famous delinquent Kasumi Itou. Even though she's known at school for being trouble, the reality is that Kasumi is a funny, level-headed girl with a heart of gold. Just as their mutual crushes on each other begin to bloom, they are met with one heck of a surprise...
