Yuri Visual Novel Spotlight: “LOVE BAKUDAN”

Noodletub Games released “LOVE BAKUDAN” back in January 2021 on Steam and itch.io. Developer and publisher Noodletub Games is a two-person team making yuri story driven games. “LOVE BAKUDAN” was funded via Kickstarter.

The single-player game is described as “an 18+ yuri visual novel about Haruka Mishima, a young woman who inherits an erotic bookstore - and all of the drama, romance and daily life that comes with it. With six unique romance routes, erotic books to read and a special extra route, who will be the love bomb of your choice?”

The visual novel features six unique romance routes “with an incredibly colorful cast of girls”. No two routes are the same with each route as a brand-new experience and no repeated scenes.

While playing the game, you will be able to unlock and read erotic books. Options will depend on the different routes and will include twenty stories across thirty volumes. The game itself includes 640,000+ words between the prologue, seven unique routes, twenty erotic stories, twenty-four extras that can be unlocked and steamy NSFW CG scenes.

The visual novel includes a complete yuri cast of characters. According to the game developer, “From the demure shrine maidens all the way to the grannies that hang out at Haruka’s store, every woman in this game loves girls. A lot.”

Game Story: “LOVE BAKUDAN” is an 18+ erotic yuri dramedy, focusing on the life of Haruka Mishima. When she returns to her coastal hometown of Akiyama after a long time away, she finds that there’s much more waiting for her than just inheriting her family’s erotic bookstore, Bakudan Books. But between romancing girls and selling erotica to the locals, Haruka finds that she’s in for an even wilder ride than she expected...
