“Blue Reflection Ray” Confirmed To Air For Half-Year Run
During AnimeJapan 2021 panel for Gust's “Blue Reflection” franchise, it was confirmed that the new anime “Blue Reflection Ray” will air for a half-year run (24 Episodes). The new “magical girl” series is set to stream April 9, 2021 on Funimation.
In addition, a new key visual was revealed featuring the main characters in their "Reflector" battle forms.
The series is based on the 2017 released role-playing game “Blue Reflection” by developer Gust and Koei Tecmo. The anime will be produced by J.C. Staff and stars Manaka Iwami as Hiori Hirahara and Haruka Chisuga as Ruka Hanari.
Funimation will simulcast the series as a part of their Spring 2021 lineup in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico and Brazil; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Germany, Russia and Scandinavia.
Synopsis: This is a story that connects the glittering feelings. Joy, sadness, anger. People's feelings are the power that everyone has, but they cannot see. At times, that power may even change the world. The series follows Yosakurari Hirahara, who is always positive and can’t leave alone people who are in trouble, and Rinatsu Hanari, who is clumsy because she doesn't know how to get along with people. How will the encounter between the two girls, who can be said to be contrasting, change themselves and the world?
