Seven Seas Licenses “Tai Ari Deshita: Ojō-sama wa Kakutō Game Nante Shinai” Manga Series
Seven Seas Entertainment announces the license acquisition of the manga series “Tai Ari Deshita: Ojō-sama wa Kakutō Game Nante Shinai” (GGWP. ~Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games~) by Eri Ejima. This over-the-top comedy about delicate young ladies indulging in hardcore gaming is soon to be an anime!
Synopsis: Kuromi Girls’ Academy is a refined, elegant school that expects the very best in deportment from its young ladies. Aya got into this peerless rich-girls’ institution on a scholarship, and hopes to grow as lovely as her fellow student and idol Shirayui. But Shirayui hides a terrible secret: she’s a trash-talking, combo-chaining, newbie-stomping, ruthless hardcore gamer! Could a mutual indulgence in no-holds-barred video game combat grow into a deeper rapport between these two girls?
Seven Seas will publish the manga series “Tai Ari Deshita: Ojō-sama wa Kakutō Game Nante Shinai” for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in September 2021.
KADOKAWA recently announced an anime adaptation in the works for the manga. No word as of yet on a distributor or a release date.
