Seven Seas Licenses “The Two of Them Are Pretty Much Like This” Yuri Manga Series

Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announce today the license acquisition of the manga series “The Two of Them Are Pretty Much Like This” by Takashi Ikeda, the creator of Yuri classic “Whispered Words”.

According to Seven Seas, “Enjoy this new slice-of-life Yuri manga about two adult women in the creative industries and their shared romantic life in their apartment.” Known as “Futari wa Daitai Konna Kanji” (We're Usually Like This.), the manga is currently being serialized by Comic Boost in Japan and has three volumes.

Synopsis: Thirty-year-old Eri and twenty-year-old Wako are “roommates.” Eri is a professional writer, and Wako’s a voice actor who’s building up her reel. Having worked together and now living together, these two women in love have a nice little life for themselves! Follow this comfortable couple in a heartwarming manga tale about the everyday humor, stressors, and joys of a life shared together.

Seven Seas will publish the manga series “The Two of Them Are Pretty Much Like This” for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in April 2022 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN.
