Yen Press Licenses “This Monster Wants to Eat Me” Yuri Manga Series

Publisher Yen Press announced the license acquisition of the Yuri manga series “This Monster Wants to Eat Me” by Sai Naekawa.

According to Yen Press, “with stunning art, deep characters, and plenty of sea monsters, this highly anticipated yuri manga follows a melancholic girl with a tragic past and the human-eating mermaid who has taken a liking to her.”Known in Japan as “Watashi wo Tabetai, Hitodenashi”, the fantasy manga was first serialized in Dengeki Maoh in 2020. The on-going Yuri series has 7 volumes in print in Japan.

“This Monster Wants to Eat Me” Volume 1 is set to be released in June 2024.
