“Extreme Hearts” Anime Set To Stream On Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll announced that they have acquired exclusive rights to the upcoming original anime “Extreme Hearts”. The streamer will simulcast the anime as it airs in Japan as part of their Summer 2022 Anime Season. The series is set to be released on July 9, 2022.
Crunchyroll will simulcast the series in subtitles in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
Crunchyroll Synopsis: A singer teams up with stars of various sports to compete with enhanced gear!
The anime stars Ruriko Noguchi as “Hiyori Hayama”, Miho Okasaki as “Saki Kodaka”, Kana Yūki as “Sumika Maehara”, Ayaka Fukuhara as “Yukino Tachibana”, and Ari Ozawa as “Lise Kohinata”.
According to the anime’s website, the story is “A little more about the future than the present. ‘Hyper sports’ is a hobby competition that is popular with children and adults alike. Hiyori Hayama is a high school singer who had nothing to do with such hyper sports. The story begins to move in the wake of a certain incident and encounter. ‘This is the story of us meeting our best friends.’”
“Extreme Hearts” is an original anime from writer Masaki Tsuzuki. Junji Nishimura is directing at Seven Arcs with Issei Aragaki and Kana Hashidate serving as chief animation directors. Voice cast member Miho Okasaki is performing the anime's opening theme "Infinite".
