Funimation To Stream “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S” Anime English Dub
Funimation announced today the English dubbing premiere date of “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S”. The first episode of season 2 of the comedy TV anime is set to be released on August 4, 2021 on the streamer.
The English cast from “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” are set to return for the second season, including voice actors Leah Clark as “Kobayashi”, Sarah Wiedenheft as “Tohru” and Jād Saxton as “Kanna”. Kristi Rothrock will be joining the cast as the new dragon “Ilulu”.
Additional cast members include: Jamie Marchi as “Lucoa”, Rachel Glass as “Elma”, Macy Anne Johnson as “Shouta”, Garret Storms as “Fafnir”, Felecia Angelle as “Georgie”, Sara Ragsdale as “Riko”, and Jeff Johnson as “Takiya”.
From Kyoto Animation and based on the manga by coolkyousinnjya, “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S” is currently being simulcast in subtitles as it airs in Japan on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll Synopsis: The wacky Dragon Maid is back again! A strange turn of events leads the Dragon, Tohru, to work as Miss Kobayashi's maid. She occasionally (that's a lie, she often) causes trouble for her beloved Miss Kobayashi while blending into human society and splendidly (that's a lie, only mediocrely) carrying out her maid duties. Her fellow dragons, Kanna, Lucoa, Fafnir, and Elma all find their own places to fit in as well and enjoy interspecies interactions with the humans. Yet while they're all enjoying that laid-back and occasionally turbulent left, the threat of a new Dragon swoops down upon Miss Kobayashi.
“Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” Season 1 is currently available to stream in subtitles on Crunchyroll and English dubbing on Funimation. The series is also available to purchase on blu-ray. The short anime series “Mini Dragon” is also currently available to stream in subtitles on Crunchyroll.
Seven Seas Entertainment is currently releasing the manga series “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” and the spin-off’s “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary” and “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life” in English.
