HIDIVE To Stream “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” Seasons 1 And 2 Plus “Churutto!” Shorts
HIDIVE recently announced the release dates for “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru) Seasons 1, 2 and the “Churutto!” anime shorts. The previous seasons will soon be available to stream with Season 3, which is currently being simulcast on HIDIVE as part of their Fall 2021 Anime Season.
“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” Season 1 is set to be released on October 15, 2021. The first season, which originally premiered in 2014, contains 12 episodes and will be available to stream in English dubbing and subtitles.
Season 1 Synopsis: Yuna Yuki is an ordinary second-year middle school student. She gets up in the morning, gets ready for school, goes to classes, participates in club activities, and has fun with her friends. But there is one extraordinary thing about Yuki -- she belongs to the “Brave Hero Club.” What does the Brave Hero Club do? Who is the mysterious being called “Vertex?” Yuki Yuna and her friends’ story takes place in Year 300, Era of the Gods.
“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” Season 2 is set to be released on October 22, 2021. The second season, which premiered in 2017, was split between a 6-episode prequel, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Washio Sumi Chapter”, and a 6-episode sequel, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Hero Chapter”. The 12 episodes will be available to stream in subtitles.
“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Washio Sumi Chapter” Synopsis: The prequel takes place two years before “Yuki Yuna is a Hero” Season 1. Sixth grader Sumi Washio is a hero chosen by the Divine Tree spirit to protect the world. She fulfills her mission while treasuring each day with her classmates Sonoko Nogi and Gin Minowa.
“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Hero Chapter” Synopsis: The sequel takes place right after the events of season 1. Yuki Yuna and the members of the Sanshu Middle School Hero Club spend one day after another working on club activities until an incident disrupts their peaceful existence.
HIDIVE will stream seasons 1 and 2 to audiences in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Nordic, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, South Africa and Latin America.
“Yuki Yuna is a Hero Churutto!” shorts is set to be released on October 29, 2021. The series originally premiered in April 2021 and the 12 episodes will be available to stream in subtitles.
Synopsis: Magical girls from across the generations will all meet in one place and time. Hero Club President Fuu Inubosaki has brought everyone together to announce the long-awaited Hero Club Udon.
HIDIVE will stream the “Churutto!” shorts to audiences in the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Nordic, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, and Latin America.
“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” Season 3, known as “Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Mankai Chapter” (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru: Dai Mankai no Shou), premiered on October 1, 2021 and is currently being simulcast on HIDIVE.
Season 3 Synopsis: The magical girls of the Sanshu Middle School Hero Club have one goal: to make people smile whenever they can and to always help those in need. Through teamwork and the help of their magical powers, Yuna, Mimori, Fuu, Itsuki, Karin and Sonoko have vanquished deadly Vertexes, recovered a missing friend and balanced their lives as magical girls and regular middle school students. Now a new adventure begins, one that will test their skills and their bond as friends alike.
