“KanColle” Anime Set To Premiere Season 2 Fall 2022
Production company C2 Kikan announced via Twitter that the second season of “KanColle” was set to premiere Fall 2022. The anime sequel was originally announced back in 2015.
“KanColle” Season 2 will be produced by Studio ENGI, Kadokawa, and C2 Kikan. Based on the video game by the same name, “KanColle” Season 1 premiered in 2015 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. The first is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll in subtitles and English dubbing. Funimation released the series on DVD and Blu-ray in 2017.
Crunchyroll Synopsis: Set in a world where humanity has lost control of the oceans to the “deep sea fleet,” the only hope to counter this threat are the Kanmusu, a group of girls who possess the spirit of Japanese warships. The story revolves around Fubuki, a destroyer who comes to the Chinjufu base to train with other Kanmusu. Watch as their stories unfold!
“Kantai Collection: KanColle Movie” was released in November 2016 in Japan. The movie was produced by Diomedea and distributed by Kadokawa.
