“My Master Has No Tail” Anime Announces New Premiere Date With 2nd Key Visual
The official website for “My Master Has No Tail” anime announced a new premiere date with a second key visual for the upcoming series. The fantasy anime is set to be released on September 30, 2022. It was previously set for October 2022.
Based on the manga by TNSK, the comedy anime stars M.A.O as “Mameda” and Hibiku Yamamura as “Bunko”. Hideyo Yamamoto is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Touko Machida is handling the series composition with character designs by Ryo Yamauchi.
The manga, known in Japan as “Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai”, is being serialized in Kodansha's Good! Afternoon magazine and has seven volumes in print. Kodansha Comics US is currently publishing the manga digitally in English.
Kodansha Comics Synopsis: Mameda is a tanuki who was born in the wrong era - all she wants is to trick humans, but that age of tanuki shenanigans is over. But one woman, a rakugo master named Bunko, shows Mameda it's still possible to cast magic on humans...only with words, not illusions. Mameda is determined to become Bunko's apprentice, but can she convince the stoic master to take her on...?
