Original Anime “Yuri no Aida ni Hasamareru.” Announced For October 2022
An original anime titled “Yuri no Aida ni Hasamareru. Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei” (Caught Between a Yuri Relationship. My Life After I Became a Dummy Head Microphone One Morning) was announced this week with the official launch of the anime’s website. The comedy TV anime is set to premiere in October 2022 in Japan.
The short comedy series revolves around a protagonist who has been reincarnated as a dummy head microphone (a microphone embedded in a fake human head to faithfully record the listening environment). That dummy head microphone turns out to be used by Yuri and other high school girls in an ASMR club, who are aiming for the “ASMR Koshien” high school championship. (ASMR or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response is the feeling of nervousness or relaxation that one has in response to stimuli such as certain sounds or sights).
Yoshinobu Kasai is directing the anime at studios INDIVISION and EKACHI EPILKA. Midori Ootsuka is handing the adaptation of the characters for animation from cura’s original character designs.
