“Prima Doll” Anime Announces Summer 2022 Premiere With Promo Video
The official website for “Prima Doll” revealed a new promotional video for the upcoming anime. The anime is set to be released Summer 2022.
The anime stars Azumi Waki as “Haizakura”, Tomori Kusunoki as “Karasuba”, Miyu Tomita as “Gekka”, Yuki Nakashima as “Hokiboshi”, and Akari Kito as “Retzel”. The promo video teases the song "Yumesaki Hare Butai" by Chat Noir, a group comprised of the anime's five main voice actresses as their characters. Chat Noir will also perform the opening theme song "Tin Toy Melody".
Story Synopsis: Cafe, Kuronekotei. It's a coffee shop in a corner of the 5th ward of the imperial capital. Working there are girls of autonomous dolls (automata) who bring together the best of technology. The great war that just ended a few years ago. They were made there as weapons. Postwar peace that soon came. Restored like new, dressed in a shiny kimono, Looking for a new role, I will raise my singing voice. Would you like to spend a wonderful time with them?
The anime will be a part of a mixed media project, which was announced in October 2020 by Visual Arts/Key. The project will include figures, a short story serialization, and web novels. Bibury Animation Studios will be producing with Tensho directing.
