Yen Press Licenses “The Executioner and Her Way of Life” Yuri Manga Series

Publisher Yen Press recently announced the license acquisition of the Yuri fantasy “The Executioner and Her Way of Life” manga series by author Mato Sato and artist Ryo Mitsuya.

The manga series is an adaptation of the popular yuri fantasy light novel series of the same name also currently being published by Yen Press. Known in Japan as “Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road”, the manga currently has three volumes in print. Volume 1 is set to be released on September 20, 2022.

Yen Press Synopsis: The Lost Ones are strangers from another world, hailing from a place no one has ever heard of called “Japan.” These wanderers have been associated with catastrophes since many years ago and the solemn duty of exterminating them without remorse falls to Menou, a young Executioner. But when her mission is complicated by a Japanese girl named Akari who refuses to die, Menou embarks on a peculiar journey to find something that can slay even an immortal who insists on traveling with her would-be-killer!

“The Executioner and Her Way of Life” light novel series by author Mato Sato and artist Nilitsu currently has six volumes in print. Volume 4 is set to be released on May 3, 2022 and Volume 5 is set to be released September 20, 2022 in the US.
