Yen Press Licenses Yuri Manga Series “The Anemone Feels the Heat”

Publisher Yen Press announced during their Anime NYC 2024 Panel the license acquisition of the Yuri manga series “The Anemone Feels the Heat” by Ren Sakuragi.

Known in Japan as “Anemone wa Netsu wo Obiru” (The girl doesn't know her heat.), the drama manga was first serialized in the Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine in 2020. The on-going series currently has 7 volumes in print in Japan.

Author and artist Ren Sakuragi is best known for contributing to Yuri anthologies including “Yuri Is My Job! Official Comic Anthology”, “Lycoris Recoil Official Comic Anthology: Repeat”, “Laid-Back Camp Anthology Comic” and “Me and, I. Gyaru x Yuri Anthology”.

“The Anemone Feels the Heat” Volume 1 is slated to be released in February 2025 or March 2025.
